Dell will soon add two new gaming notebooks to its Alienware range with the M14X and M18X, according to images leaked on the dell.benyouhui forums. While specs are still thin, the 18-inch version is said to sport a 1080p screen and graphics courtesy of two AMD Radeon HD 6870M chips in CrossFire mode or two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M GPUs set up in SLI. The new 14-inch Alienware is the most portable gaming system and sports the same design cues.
They include a glossy display offset by matte surfaces when the notebook is opened. The touchpad and its corresponding buttons should framed by a customizable LED light. Graphics processing should come from NVIDIA's GeForce GT 555M or AMD's Radeon HD 6730M or 6770M.
